HVO marking for rental equipment

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil, known as HVO for short, is a synthetic diesel fuel made from hydrogenated vegetable oils and animal fats. Compared to fossil diesel, this has a significantly reduced CO₂ balance — with the same output. For Clemens Felbermayr, sales manager for cranes, work platforms and forklifts, it is clear: “We want to provide our customers with the best possible support in meeting their own sustainability goals and contribute to decarbonization with effective and simple solutions. ”
HVO stickers for rental equipment Around 70 percent
of the work platform fleet is powered by batteries or hybrids. But even diesel-powered devices have potential for climate-friendly operation. For this reason, all rental devices that, according to the manufacturer's instructions, can be refuelled with HVO, will be provided with a sticker. “This simple measure creates transparency and helps our customers make environmentally conscious decisions,” continues Felbermayr.
Technically and ecologically sound alternative to diesel fuel
Workshop manager Josef Kreuzmayr points to the practicality: “HVO does not result in any loss of performance and is also comparable with conventional diesel in terms of maintenance costs.” Felbermayr is particularly important about the origin of the fuel: “We pay attention to certified raw materials and their traceability to ensure that the use of HVO Peractually has a positive climate effect,” adds ESG manager Katharina Pale.
With HVO labelling in rental parks, Felbermayr creates an easy way to make climate protection visible and tangible in everyday life. All information on sustainable fuel, CO₂ balance and possible uses can be found at felbermayr.cc/hvo-fuel.
