Felbermayr's work platform and lift truck rental division is also investing heavily in the latest technology in 2025 and continues to grow. This starts with a large order of over 300 work platforms and lift trucks. These include some special machines as well as compact and manoeuvrable standard machines. These offer renters extensive additional benefits in terms of efficiency and occupational safety. The Transport and Lifting Technology division will continue to grow over the course of the year.

The sky-blue Felbermayr rental fleet will be expanded by around 250 work platforms such as scissor lifts, articulated lifts and telescopic platforms as well as 60 telehandlers in various performance classes. The performance of the new machines, the new functions and the ease of operation and maintenance have convinced Felbermayr.

"The technology for work platforms and lift trucks is developing rapidly. We want to pass on the opportunities and advantages of the latest technology directly to our customers, so that they can benefit directly when using it. The safety aspects of the new machines have also been further developed, which is one of the biggest advantages," says Robert Bauer about the latest investment in safe and efficient equipment.

Innovations for work platform hire
In the area of scissor lifts, the rental fleet was expanded to include numerous all-terrain special platforms with working heights of up to 22, 28 and 32 metres. In addition to improved performance, the new scissor lifts also offer ecological benefits such as longer-lasting lithium batteries and an energy recovery system that uses the machines own weight. During the lowering of the platform, energy is recovered from the hydraulic oil, which in turn is used to recharge the battery.

Many small scissors platforms will also be added to the Felbermayr portfolio in the future. The new work platforms are compact and yet also powerful.

Innovations for lift truck leasing
Telehandlers in various performance classes are also new to the portfolio, including a 46-metre telehandler developed for load capacities of up to eight tonnes. With a maximum reach of 33 metres, this giant is one of the most powerful on the market.

Some very compact but powerful telehandlers have also been added to the rental fleet. With a load capacity of three tonnes and a maximum working height of 5.8 metres, they combine compact dimensions with impressive performance features. The telehandlers are equipped with a load moment indicator (LMI). This enables permanent monitoring of machine movements to prevent overloading.

Following this first major order, further new additions to the rental park are planned for this year. We are investing in a total of more than 500 machines. Stay up to date - we will keep you informed on our website.
