High ranking for Felbermayr crane and platform rental

For the July/August issue of the trade magazine for crane and platform users published by the German Vertikal Verlag publishing house, the editors again rated the quantity and range of work platforms and crane hire companies in the German-speaking region in the following categories: “Work platforms”, “Electric and hybrid work platforms”, “Largest rental company for truck platforms”, Largest rental company for scissors platforms”, “Largest rental company for crawler cranes”, “Mobile cranes”, “Self-erecting crane rental companies” and “Tower crane rental companies”. Felbermayr made the top ten in five of the eight categories.
First place for crawler cranes
Just like last year, Felbermayr is indisputably in first place in the “Largest rental company for crawler cranes” category. With 32 chain-based cranes, the Transport and lifting technology division has the widest range of the companies represented in the ranking and therefore leads the way in the TOP 20 list. Just missing out on the win, the sky blue fleet too second place in the “Mobile cranes” category this year. Although the range of 491 mobile cranes, with a total hook height of 33,153 metres when added together, remains large, the editors decided to give the prize to a competitor this year. However, they did concede that the result was based on their own research, as the company did not provide height figures.
Wide range of work platforms
Felbermayr held its own in almost all categories with its height access technology range. With a total of 4,479 work platforms, Felbermayr work platform rental is in eighth place and therefore one of the top ten suppliers in the German-speaking region according to the “Kran & Bühne” ranking. Felbermayr also held its own in the truck and scissors platforms area despite heavy competition and is in ninth place and sixth place respectively in the rankings with 156 truck platforms and 2,260 scissors platforms.
Despite the rankings, Peter Stöttinger, managing director of Felbermayr Transport and lifting technology remains modest: “We are of course proud of these rankings but the quality of our services is far more important to us”. “Just being big is not the decisive factor”, explains the experienced businessman. Effectiveness, profitability and, above all, satisfied customers are far more important.
